Vex was introduced as an anti-dash mage, but then it's a niche thing. Meta champs rn don't even dash that much and that just really lower her core value as an anti-dash champ. Even the multi-dash champs learned abt the loophole in her ability and just outwit it. If there's a good idea on reworking her, it would be pivoting her towards more CC and spamming but less dmg, much like Ahri being mediocre range and cast skills more. It would be a CC-oriented mage that fits the theme of anti-dash as the uptime would be better and less loophole. Much like Hwei being a control mage, balanced with the pros and cons.

I am personally not a big fan of all reset champs. I hate playing against them and hate having them on my team. They either get their reset and carry the game or miss it and are completely useless. Just played vs a Vex who was way ahead. She missed two ultis in the final two fights and did absolutely nothing. Zero impact despite being ahead.

Sure her kit is simple but that was the purpose of her release at that time right after the walking library that is Akshan, and besides, that simplicity is what makes her extremely efficient in dealing with these pesky slayer/assassin class abusers that will just run at you like a moth to the fire the moment they get their eyes on you.

That's why the old G2 with GrabbZ was the best team in my opinion. They would play the most random picks like soraka on top or totally sway their roles and still win. But unfortunately Ocelot got cancelled by a bunch of dumbasses that don't even play league. This game and community are dying quicker and quicker, vanguard is bull shit, riot only seeks money even Worlds are getting a constant downgrade.
